WestEast recently had the pleasure of hosting a summer student intern from Holmes High School. Chastity Rodriguez, a rising junior, spent two months working with us. She assisted with answering phones, managing conference room schedules, distributing mail, and filing paperwork.
Chastity said she learned many valuable skills during her summer at WestEast. She learned how important communication is, whether over the phone or in person, and how useful technology is for organizing information. Chastity also learned a lot about the architecture profession, including the planning and coordination that goes into every project.
In the future, Chastity hopes to study business at UTSA. She said, “I really enjoyed working at WestEast. Everything I learned this summer will help me in the future, whether it be in school or in my next job.” WestEast wishes Chastity the best of luck!
