WTAMU Residence Halls
phase i & II Residence Halls
WestEast worked with a national architecture firm to design a new Phase I residence hall for West Texas A&M University. The 340-bed facility was designed based on the structure of Residential Advisor (RA) led communities and includes conference center, residential life department offices, laundry facilities, and multipurpose spaces. An additional analysis and design of the central chiller plant and a utility tunnel extension were added to the original scope of work and completed within the original project budget. Phase II of the facility was awarded to WestEast because of the successful completion of Phase I. The new residence halls enhanced campus connectivity by creating open spaces and efficient walking routes.
