The Alamo Education Center, situated a mere 55 feet from the iconic Mission San Antonio de Valero, stands as a beacon of modern education while paying homage to Texas history. Envisioned as a space to inspire, educate, and cultivate curiosity, the center is not limited to the history of the Alamo or Texas but extends its educational offerings to broader historical contexts.

The landscape is meticulously crafted with native Texas plants, corn, and other crops which mirrors the environment the Spanish missionaries would have encountered, immersing visitors in a living snapshot of the past.

The center's second floor is dedicated exclusively to research, providing a valuable resource for the Alamo. Despite challenges like navigating the archeology of the historic Alamo site and ensuring the preservation of existing trees, WestEast maximized the building's plans to deliver a space that is as functional as it is impactful, particularly for young visitors.
