Faced with the need to modernize and relocate keyrehabilitation services, University Health System set out to transform theReeves Rehabilitation Center into a more welcoming, patient-centered space. Thegoal was clear: improve the quality of care and comfort for patients receivingphysical, occupational, and speech therapy. WestEast Design Group was broughtin to lead the architectural and interior design for this important transition.The new 13,800-square-foot clinic would be housed on the second floor of thePavilion Building, replacing outdated spaces on the third floor of the MainHospital. The program called for large therapy areas, a variety of specializedtreatment rooms, and support spaces that would enhance both patient experienceand clinical operations.
